My 3rd figure painting in oil...Didn't finish this one, but I may do another with the same model (I took a picture of him before I left class). I put this painting away for a few days and when I took it out, I noticed the things I should have changed while painting it. It was a good learning experience!
That's why it's a study, right?
I didn't get a chance to work on the hands or the chair much...
I will post my second painting, from the photo I took, to compare... it will be interesting to see what I do differently... ;)
Critique: The model had more exaggerated features and he wasn't as well groomed as I portrayed him... I will see what I come up with in the 2nd version. ;)
